ajīgartaḥ sutaṃ hantum upāsarpad bubhukṣitaḥ
na cālipyata pāpena kṣutpratīkāram ācaran //
Agigarta, who suffered hunger, approached in order to slay (his own) son, and was not tainted by sin, since he (only) sought a remedy against famishing.
