mārjāranakulau hatvā cāṣaṃ maṇḍūkam eva ca
śvagodholūkakākāṃś ca śūdrahatyāvrataṃ caret //
He who has slain a Sudra, shall perform that whole penance during six months, or he may also give ten white cows and one bull to a Brahmana.
