abhriṃ kārṣṇāyasīṃ dadyāt sarpaṃ hatvā dvijottamaḥ
palālabhārakaṃ ṣaṇḍhe saisakaṃ caikamāṣakam //

Or he may drink milk during three days, or walk one hundred yoganas, or bathe in a river, or mutter the hymn addressed to the Waters.
