etebhyo hi dvijāgryebhyo deyam annaṃ sadakṣiṇam
itarebhyo bahirvedi kṛtānnaṃ deyam ucyate //
To these most excellent among the twice-born, food and presents (of money) must be given; it is declared that food must be given to others outside the sacrificial enclosure.
