pāruṣyam anṛtaṃ caiva paiśunyaṃ cāpi sarvaśaḥ
asaṃbaddhapralāpaś ca vāṅmayaṃ syāc caturvidham //
Abusing (others, speaking) untruth, detracting from the merits of all men, and talking idly, shall be the four kinds of (evil) verbal action.
