amantrikā tu kāryeyaṃ strīṇām āvṛd aśeṣataḥ
saṃskārārthaṃ śarīrasya yathākālaṃ yathākramam //
This whole series (of ceremonies) must be performed for females (also), in order to sanctify the body, at the proper time and in the proper order, but without (the recitation of) sacred texts.
