na tathaitāni śakyante saṃniyantum asevayā
viṣayeṣu prajuṣṭāni yathā jñānena nityaśaḥ //

Those (organs) which are strongly attached to sensual pleasures, cannot so effectually be restrained by abstinence (from enjoyments) as by a constant (pursuit of true) knowledge.
