agryāḥ sarveṣu vedeṣu sarvapravacaneṣu ca
śrotriyānvayajāś caiva vijñeyāḥ paṅktipāvanāḥ //
Those men must be considered as the sanctifiers of a company who are most learned in all the Vedas and in all the Angas, and who are the descendants of Srotriyas.
