eṣoditā gṛhasthasya vṛttir viprasya śāśvatī
snātakavratakalpaś ca sattvavṛddhikaraḥ śubhaḥ //

Thus have been declared the means by which a Brahmana householder must always subsist, and the summary of the ordinances for a Snataka, which cause an increase of holiness and are praiseworthy.
