nāñjayantīṃ svake netre na cābhyaktām anāvṛtām
na paśyet prasavantīṃ ca tejaskāmo dvijottamaḥ //

A Brahmana who desires energy must not look at (a woman) who applies collyrium to her eyes, has anointed or uncovered herself or brings forth (a child).
