ṛṣayo dīrghasaṃdhyatvād dīrgham āyur avāpnuyuḥ
prajñāṃ yaśaś ca kīrtiṃ ca brahmavarcasam eva ca //

By prolonging the twilight devotions, the sages obtained long life, wisdom, honour, fame, and excellence in Vedic knowledge.
