ata ūrdhvaṃ tu chandāṃsi śukleṣu niyataḥ paṭhet
vedāṅgāni ca sarvāṇi kṛṣṇapakṣeṣu saṃpaṭhet //

Afterwards he shall diligently recite the Vedas during the bright (halves of the months), and duly study all the Angas of the Vedas during the dark fortnights.
