prāṇasyānnam idaṃ sarvaṃ prajāpatir akalpayat
sthāvaraṃ jaṅgamaṃ caiva sarvaṃ prāṇasya bhojanam //
The Lord of creatures (Pragapati) created this whole (world to be) the sustenance of the vital spirit; both the immovable and the movable (creation is) the food of the vital spirit.
