lokeśādhiṣṭhito rājā nāsyāśaucaṃ vidhīyate
śaucāśaucaṃ hi martyānāṃ lokebhyaḥ prabhavāpyayau //

Because the king is pervaded by those lords of the world, no impurity is ordained for him; for purity and impurity of mortals is caused and removed by (those) lords of the world.
