tyajed āśvayuje māsi munyannaṃ pūrvasaṃcitam
jīrṇāni caiva vāsāṃsi śākamūlaphalāni ca //

Let him throw away in the month of Asvina the food of ascetics, which he formerly collected, likewise his worn-out clothes and his vegetables, roots, and fruit.
