nābhinandeta maraṇaṃ nābhinandeta jīvitam
kālam eva pratīkṣeta nirveśaṃ bhṛtako yathā //

Let him not desire to die, let him not desire to live; let him wait for (his appointed) time, as a servant (waits) for the payment of his wages.
