saṃnyasya sarvakarmāṇi karmadoṣān apānudan
niyato vedam abhyasya putraiśvarye sukhaṃ vaset //
Having given up (the performance of) all rites, throwing off the guilt of his (sinful) acts, subduing his organs and having studied the Veda, he may live at his ease under the protection of his son.
