grāmadoṣān samutpannān grāmikaḥ śanakaiḥ svayam
śaṃsed grāmadaśeśāya daśeśo viṃśatīśine //
The lord of one village himself shall inform the lord of ten villages of the crimes committed in his village, and the ruler of ten (shall make his report) to the ruler of twenty.
