nātisāṃvatsarīṃ vṛddhiṃ na cādṛṣṭāṃ
cakravṛddhiḥ kālavṛddhiḥ kāritā kāyikā ca yā //
Let him not take interest beyond the year, nor such as is unapproved, nor compound interest, periodical interest, stipulated interest, and corporal interest.
