dharmāsanam adhiṣṭhāya saṃvītāṅgaḥ samāhitaḥ
praṇamya lokapālebhyaḥ kāryadarśanam ārabhet //
Having occupied the seat of justice, having covered his body, and having worshipped the guardian deities of the world, let him, with a collected mind, begin the trial of causes.
