yaṃ tu paśyen nidhiṃ rājā purāṇaṃ nihitaṃ kṣitau
tasmād dvijebhyo dattvārdham ardhaṃ kośe praveśayet //
When the king finds treasure of old concealed in the ground let him give one half to Brahmanas and place the (other) half in his treasury.
