jyeṣṭha eva tu gṛhṇīyāt pitryaṃ dhanam aśeṣataḥ
śeṣās tam upajīveyur yathaiva pitaraṃ tathā //

(Or) the eldest alone may take the whole paternal estate, the others shall live under him just as (they lived) under their father.
