dyūtaṃ samāhvayaṃ caiva rājā rāṣṭrān nivārayet
rājāntakaraṇāv etau dvau doṣau pṛthivīkṣitām //
Gambling and betting let the king exclude from his realm; those two vices cause the destruction of the kingdoms of princes.
