amātyāḥ prāḍvivāko vā yat kuryuḥ kāryam anyathā
tat svayaṃ nṛpatiḥ kuryāt sahasraṃ ca daṇḍayet //
Whatever matter his ministers or the judge may settle improperly, that the king himself shall (re-) settle and fine (them) one thousand (panas).
