etad vaḥ sāraphalgutvaṃ bījayonyoḥ prakīrtitam
ataḥ paraṃ pravakṣyāmi yoṣitāṃ dharmam āpadi //
Thus the comparative importance of the seed and of the womb has been declared to you; I will next propound the law (applicable) to women in times of misfortune.
