eṣām eva prabhedo 'nyaḥ śatam aṣṭottaraṃ smṛtam /
kriyābhedān manuṣyāṇāṃ śataśākho nigadyate //
Their branches amount to one hundred and thirty-two. On account of the multifariousness of human concerns, (a judicial proceeding) is said to have a hundred branches.
