tatvajñānaphale grahi rjhamatara vyāmoha muṣṭiṃdhayaḥ .
niśśeṣa vyasanodaraṃbhari raphu prāgbhāra kūlaṃkaṣaḥ .
luṃṭāko mada matsarādi vitate stāpatrayā ruṃtudaḥ .
pāda ssyā damitaṃpacaḥ karuṇayā bhadraṃkara śśāṃkaraḥ .. 3

Yielding the fruit of knowledge of reality, crushing dense delusion in its fist,
satiating the belly of all misfortunes, washing away the mass of previous [deeds],
plundering the host of pride, envy, and the like, paining the threefold affliction—
may the foot of Śaṅkara, abundantly generous and conferring welfare through compassion, [protect us]. (3)
