[Mantra:] “Oṃ, slay the demons, slay the buried charms; I bind the Viṣṇu-powers. Here I dig up that buried charm which an equal or an unequal buried. Here I cast it down beneath. The buried charm which an equal or an unequal who is hostile [buried]—overcome by the gāyatrī meter, what auspiciousness is here, may that be ours together. You are Virāj, slayer of rivals; you are Samrāj, slayer of foes; you are Svarāj, slayer of the hateful; you are Viśvarāj, slayer of all destructive spirits.”
