sarvabādhā praśamanī śāṃtirbhavati sarvadā .. iti nṛsiṃha homavidhiḥ. a tha gā ya tryāḥ lakṣakoṭi homavidhiḥ ( hemādrau madanaratne devīpurāṇe ) ślo .. ṣaḍaśraṃ lakṣaṇopetaṃ vaiḍuryaṃkārayecchivaṃ . hemapīṭhaṃ suśobhāḍhyaṃ caṃdrārkau tatra mātaraḥ .. 1

always becomes a propitiatory rite that pacifies all afflictions. Thus ends the procedure for the Nṛsiṃha fire oblation. Now, the procedure for the hundred-thousand and ten-million fire oblations of the Gāyatrī. (In Hemādri, the Madanaratna, and the Devīpurāṇa): / One should make a hexagonal Śiva [linga] endowed with the characteristics, made of cat's-eye gem, on a golden pedestal rich in splendid beauty, with the moon and the sun, and the Mothers there; // 1
