a tha gra ha ṇa śāṃ tiḥ
mātsye :----
horāyāṃgra nateyasya nakṣatrevā niśākaraṃ .
prāṇa saṃdeha māpnoti maraṇāṃvā samṛcchati ..

Now, the propitiatory rite for eclipses.
In the Matsya Purāṇa:
"When the moon is eclipsed in someone's rising sign or in his lunar mansion,
he faces risk to his life or meets with death.
