samāpya homaṃvidhi vadbhrāhmaṇebhyo viśeṣataḥ .
dānaṃna śaktito dadyādya dīcchedātmano hitaṃ .
sūryagrahe sūrya nāma yuktānmaṃtrāśca kīrtayet ..

Having concluded the fire oblation according to rule, if he desires his own welfare,
he should give gifts to the Brahmins in particular, according to his ability.
During a solar eclipse, one should recite the mantras joined with the sun's names.
