atha prāsāda kalaśa liṃgārcābhaṃga śāṃtiḥ
adbhuta sāgarè nāradaḥ :--
yatra devakule vajraṃ vatedgṛdhrothavā punaḥ .
kaṃkasya patanecaiva cūjāyā magni darśanaṃ .. 1

Now, the propitiatory rite for damage to the temple finial-pitcher, Liṅga, or sculpted image.
In the Adbhutasāgara, Nārada says:
Wherever a thunderbolt falls upon a temple, or a vulture, / or upon the falling of a heron, or when fire is seen upon the finial; // 1
