atha madanaratneśva śāṃtiḥ
utpāteṣu nimitteṣu vājināmāgateṣuca .
hayaśālottarebhāge sthaṃḍilaṃ tatra kalpayat .. 46

Now the propitiatory rite for horses according to the Madanaratna: / When portents and [evil] omens concerning horses arise, / one should prepare a sacred ground in the northern part of the stable. 46
