8.11

(daśamī brāhmaṇaspatyā varātu brahmaṇesmṛtā .
sarasvatī tadheṣṭoroṃ tyāsauṣiṣṭakṛttathā ..) 10
ājyāhutayaevādau sthālīpākehute punaḥ .
hutvāgniṃ tarpayodviprān pitṛbhyaśca prakalpayet .. 11

(The tenth is declared to Brahmaṇaspati, and an excellent one to Brahmā,
likewise to Sarasvatī, and the last is to Sviṣṭakṛt.) // 10
Ghee oblations are indeed [offered] first; when the pot-cooked grain offering is offered, having offered [it]
into the fire, he should satisfy the brāhmaṇas and assign [offerings] to the ancestors. // 11
