Here, the fire pits are of one cubit in size. This refers to quickly combustible substances such as ghee. But in the case of sesame, barley, and the like, in a hundredth part of a lakh: / The fire pit should be of three cubits for half a lakh; for an offering of a lakh, it should be four cubits; / and when an offering of ten thousand is to be made, the fire pit should be just one cubit. // 83
