dviprakāro vibhāgas tu dāyādānāṃ prakīrtitaḥ /
vayojyeṣṭhakrameṇaikaḥ samā parāṃśakalpanā //
Partition among coparceners is declared to be of two kinds; one is with attention to priority of birth, the other consists of the allotment of equal shares.
