śāve tu sūtakaṃ cet syān niśāśeṣe tathaiva ca | navaśrāddhāni deyāni yathākālaṃ yathāvidhi

If an impurity due to birth should occur during [an impurity due to] a death, and likewise at the end of the night, / the navaśrāddhas are still to be offered at the proper time and according to rule.

If birth-impurity occurs during death-impurity, or likewise at the end of the night, the 'new' śrāddhas are to be given at their time and by rule.
