labhetāṃśaṃ sa pitryaṃ tu pitṛvyāt tasya vā sutāt /
sa evāṃśas tu sarveṣā bhrātṝṇāṃ nyāyato bhavet /
labheta tat suto vāpi nivṛttiḥ parato bhavet //

He should receive his father's share from his uncle or from his uncle's son; / that very same share, by rule, belongs to all the brothers; / his son too may receive it; beyond that, there is cessation.
