pratimāsaṃ tadā darśaṃ yacchrāddhaṃ tarpaṇādikam /
asaṃśayaṃ prakurvīta na ceddoṣo mahān bhavet //

Then, month by month, whatever ancestral rite [is due on] the new moon day, the water libations, and so forth,
he should perform without hesitation; otherwise a great fault will arise.
