āpanno yena vā dharmo vrataṃ vā yena tuṣyati /
brāhmaṇānāṃ prasādena saṃtāryaḥ sarva eva hi //
Either the religious duty that is appropriate, or the vow by which he is contented: / through the favor of Brahmins, everyone must indeed be carried across.
