pūrṇe'pi kālaniyame na śuddhirbrāhmaṇairvinā
apūrṇeṣvapi kāleṣu śodhayanti dvijottamāḥ
Even when the allotted time is completed, there is no purification without Brahmins; / even when the periods of time are incomplete, the best of the twice-born purify.
