4.1

atha cāṇḍālakūpajalapānādau pānādiṣūdakyādisaṃsparśe ca prāyaścittaṃ
cāṇḍālakūpabhāṇḍeṣu yo'jñānātpibate jalam
prāyaścittaṃ kathaṃ tasya varṇe varṇe vidhīyate

Now the penance for drinking water from a Cāṇḍāla's well and the like, and for contact with a menstruating woman and others during drinking and the like: / If someone unwittingly drinks water from a Cāṇḍāla's well or vessel, / how is his penance ordained for each social class?
