atha vaiśyāntyajaśvakākocchiṣṭabhojaneprāyaścittavarṇanam
cāṇḍālena yadā spṛṣṭo dvijavarṇaḥ kadācana
anabhyukṣya pivettoyaṃ prāyaścittaṃ kathaṃ bhavet

Now the description of penance for eating the leavings of a Vaiśya, an outcaste, a dog, or a crow: / When a member of the twice-born classes is ever touched by a Cāṇḍāla, / and drinks water without sprinkling [it], how would the penance be?
