bhūmau nidhāya taddavyamācāntaḥ śucitāmiyāt
spṛśanti vindavaḥ pādau ya ācāmayataḥ parān
having placed that object on the ground and sipped water for purification, he would attain purity; / drops that touch the feet of one who causes others to sip water for purification,
