caturthe'hani karttavyaṃ kṣurakarmātiyatnataḥ
puṇyāhaṃ vācayitvānte bhoktavyaṃ śuddhimicchatā
on the fourth day, shaving the head must be performed with great care; / having caused the declaration of an auspicious day to be recited at the end, one desiring purification should eat.
