loko vaśīkṛto yena yena cātmā vaśīkṛtaḥ
indriyārtho jito yena taṃ yogaṃ prabravīmyaham
I shall expound that yoga by which the world is subdued, / by which the self is subdued, and by which the sense-object is conquered.
