vṛttihīnaṃ manaḥ kṛtvā kṣetrajñaṃ paramātmani
ekīkṛtya vimucyeta yogo'yaṃ mukhya ucyate
Having made the mind free of mental modifications, uniting the knower of the field / with the Supreme Self, one is liberated: this is called the principal yoga.
