viniḥsṛte tataḥ śalye rajaso vā'pi darśane
tadā sā śudhyate nārī vimalaṃ kāñcanaṃ yathā
Once that dart has come forth, or upon the appearance of menses, / then that woman becomes pure, like spotless gold.
