ṣaḍaṅgavittrisuparṇo bahvṛco jyeṣṭhasāmagaḥ
triṇāciketaḥ pañcāgnirbrāhmaṇāḥ paṅktipāvanāḥ
One who knows the six Vedāṅgas, one who recites the Trisuparṇa, a Ṛgvedin, one who sings the Jyeṣṭhasāman, / one who knows the Triṇāciketa, and one who maintains the five sacred fires—such brahmins are purifiers of the assembly row.
