tasya prāptavratasyāyaṃ kālaḥ syāddiguṇādhikaḥ .
vedavratacyuto vrātyaḥ sa vrātyaḥ stomamarhati .. 1.20 ..

For one who has reached [the time for] the vow, this period may be up to twice as long. / Deprived of the Vedic vow, he is a vrātya; that vrātya deserves the [Vrātya]stoma sacrifice. // 1.20
